Sunday 'Bonus' Raffle and Achievement Award

This years Sunday 'Bonus' Raffle aside from our usual daily raffles was for a original Clinton powered Fox kart donated by Roger Santee.
The story behind this kart is that Roger was selling the kart and the buyer backed out of the deal so Roger said somebody needs this kart so he graciously donated it to R.E.A.R. with the premise that it be raffled off and go to a good home. For his generous efforts Roger received a "Biggie' in what we call our 'Achievement' category that identifies a individual who steps up and gives something back to the Historical Karting Community. Thank you and congratulations, Roger.
The winner of this years Sunday 'Bonus' Raffle is Shawn Engel of Nottawa Ontario, Canada. In case Shawn's name sounds familiar its because between Shawn and his dad Richard they have won a combined total of 3 'Bonus' raffles over the years taking home a complete set of Go-Power wheels, a Mc-9 and now a complete kart.
Side-note...The kart that Shawn won just so happens to be the first kart Shawn's dad, Richard had when he got into karting many, many, many, years ago. Guess who was the first to take the kart out on the track ? It wasn't Shawn. LOL!
