Hotel for TBO 2015

Should I just make reservations at a particular hotel for TBO this year? Since I missed last year for the first time in the past 9 yrs or so, I would like to be in the same hotel as many other karters, and there was an issue with the Hotel shutting down unexpectedly 2 yrs ago leaving a number of karters looking for a place to stay.

Good to hear your heading back this year.
Sit tight for alittle while longer. We are trying to contact some area hotels right now and when we hear back from them we will post complete info.

Hi, Mark. Charlie Craibe and I will be at the Great Lakes Motel on the South side of State Street. It's just a little East of where Hayes Avenue joins into State Street, so it's easy to and from the track and the banquet hall. It's a one story mom-and-pop style of place, and close to Whitey's Restaurant where some of the gang go for breakfast. The photos look simple, but clean. The address and phone are:

Mark, it's gonna be a fun time this year! Come see Charlie, myself and Jack Canady and Al Klusman down at the South end of the pits by the porta-potty. I understand Al and Jack will have something fun this year. I'll have my Swoopster with the Bonbright 610, and Charlie will have his nice Bug Scorpion with the 101D on the Margay gearbox. I'll have to learn to drive all over again! Ted
