Re: Huh............
Sometimes a gouger gets gouged.......
Re: Huh............
I was at a swap meet & a guy was standing there. We were talking and I told him I have a Caretta & it was very nice but it was missing the tag. He said to give him my address........ he took the one off of his kart when he painted it years and years ago & it was in the top corner of his tool box all these years later. A few days after that I got a nice suprise in the mail.
I figured finding one was never going to happen as some parts are simply unatainable...... I am happy I was wrong.

Re: Huh............
This is how this came about. Enzo knew I was looking for a Caretta medallion. He gave me the name of a member with one. I made contact and offered him $100 for it. He e-mailed back, "LOL, he would make a key chain out of it."
He was told, never mind.
Later in the week it showed up on e-bay starting at $499. It pissed me off because I know how much he paid for it.
I put the one I had on e-bay for $498.99. He opened the bid on it. Then raise the opening amount on his to $899.
He lowered it back to $499 but there aren't many takers.
The ironic part of this deal is Ingels and Borelli didn't make the medallions.
The point is, when one attempts to gouge other members, once in awhile they fall into they're own trap.

Re: Huh............
I'm going to cancel the auction for a number of reasons.
1. I'm letting him off a $500 hook.
2. Identifying this guy is the profit.
3. Artificial inflated price
4. BAD for our sport.

Re: Huh............
Dennis Turk: Dominic there was a guy on the Rears group that re-popped a couple and he sent me one. Don't remember what he charged me but was not much. My rear axle mount tag was missing though the two holes were there.
I would be interested in a couple of dozen.
