I preferred the clear lexan body's to the hard body's. Painting from the inside took practice.
The group 7 cars would lap at the 2to3 second per lap. Dragsters cover 55 feet in a half second and will do over 100 mph.

Paul Martin, the guy who makes the MCP Brake systems that many retro fit to their karts is also a long time slot car racer over here in Ohio.

It was purchased from a track in New York, it was called a European blue king.
We had a Windsor and drag strip and a commercial HO track.
