Sure do appreciate all the advice! It's good to know that their are options available since nobody has the Hartman oil. I have never had the opportunity to run a Hartman clutch, so I'll probably go the ATF route. Synthetic seems like a wise choice since most or all synthetics perform better at extreme temperatures, and I assume these clutches run quite hot.
That's what is so great about Vintage karting; lots of people willing to share knowledge on what works!

These old motors, clutches and pipes don't run like today stuff so don't "overslip" the clutch and heat won't be a problem.

Now I'm really scratching my head. L&T "rocket lock" is a very thick clutch oil, for organic wet disc clutches. This goes against what was posted....what is the deal??
