My new Hornet Sprint

Post by Robert Morris » Sat Nov 01, 2014 10:19 am

Scored another one! I added this to the stable along with my early BUG and my FOX Kart. Dean Seavers seemed to think it was a '65-'67 Hornet Sprint. Really solid and unmolested piece. It's got a MC-49 on it for now.... I'm in need of rounding up the correct rear wheels and one more 4" outer so if someone knows of these please let me know!!!! I'd really like to keep the precision wheels on this along with those super cool front brakes. This will end up being my wife's Kart so we'll all be equiped and ready to run!

Cheers,

Robert M.

Here are my other karts... The BUG has been a major project but will be off to powdercoat shortly! The FOX is up next. Dick Teal has supplied me with all the goods for the rebuild already. I just love these damn things!

Robert,

You need to track down Jeff Brown out of Michigan, he had some super nice maybe even N.O.S. Precision Wheels for sale at THE BIG ONE this year. Not sure if they sold because they were not cheap but as everybody knows 'pretty costs money' and these were pretty wheels.

R.E.A.R.

P.S. love the front motor car.
