FUN DAY July 5th.

Post by REAR » Mon Jun 30, 2014 2:17 pm

A few guys are on the injured list but it looks like this saturdays FUN DAY is a go, weather permitting.

We'll make the final call hopefully by friday if the weather is going to co-operate so stay tuned for future updates.

This FUN DAY is open to any kind of kart, rear engine or the modern sidesaddle style, 2 smoke or snow blower powered so spread the word.

John Berky will have the grill fired up also so you may want to bring alittle something for the cook out.

I left my modern kart 8j and camera home today. I was provided a ride, but decided to pass. I wanted to spend a little more time with the folks, vintage and modern and it was going to be a long day for me (two track events). Again, good variety but different vintage and modern karts came. Included in the mix of "K"haracters and karts today. Chris Marchand, up from Florida, came up to me and said he had something to show me. I followed. It was a his latest find and project--a 1963 Dart Grand Prix. He knew I raced a 63 Dart Grand Prix.
