Thompson Vintage Day

Post by roger santee » Sun Jun 16, 2013 12:54 pm

Just a reminder about Thompson Ohio vintage day. It will be June 29th 2:00pm to 10:00pm. This is an open track day with no racing, get all the track time you want. There will be a pot luck dinner so please bring something to share. We will be having pulled pork sandwiches. If you have any questions please call me at (440) 413-3321.

Hey Roger,
Sam and I are both coming over and bringing our dual Chaparrals. We are lookin' forward to the event. Sounds like a lot of fun.
See you then,
Scott

Oh yeah,
What gear ratios?
Single and dual 101?
I looked at the track website and could not find anything about how long the track is.

We run two more teeth then at Fremont. The s curves are tighter at Thompson. The track is a quarter mile I think. Looking forward to see both of you.

Gary,
Just wanna be ready to keep up with you racer guys!!!

Actually I am re-thinking and will probably bring my blue Chappy with a new single 91B1 that I just broke in at Avon. She runs pretty good, almost as fast as my dual if you can believe that. I'll bring a spare just in case she blows!!

It sounds like a lot of fun will be had there.

Sorry Roger, won't make it this year.

I'm in Houston visiting with my dad. They usually come up to stay with me every summer to get away from the heat (and now I see why!) but dad is not able to make the trip this year, so we went down to see him.

When I get back I have to be in Cincinnati for a week of software training.

I haven't even fired up a kart yet this year, although I have them ready to go.

Have a great event!

Stan
