Re: Chrome
Looks like a slick process. The web site is pretty useless and looks like it hasn't changed since 2010.
Anyone know if there is a current resource for the materials used in the process?

That's a very interesting product and process. Thanks for posting it Rob. As Steve said, the web site is usless. It would be nice if it was at least in english. Sterling

Re: Chrome
I priced the spray on chrome for Rupp rim outers and it was just as expensive as show chrome so I stopped there. It can't be all that durable either and who knows what high temps will do to it. That was a couple years ago, maybe things have changed. I believe the silver metal spray is what costs so much.

Re: Chrome
Well, I won't deny that my rims get pretty darn hot (running on flat tires..LOL)
I was also considering it for super Mac shrouds, that is what I meant about heat. I don't think the spray on stuff will hold up.
Eastwood sells a product (that is not silver paint)they say comes really close to chrome for less than $75 with a clear coat, I may try that if I get a few bucks ahead. It might be good enough for things like rims.
Anyone ever try that?
