Looks like a slick process. The web site is pretty useless and looks like it hasn't changed since 2010.
Anyone know if there is a current resource for the materials used in the process?

I priced the spray on chrome for Rupp rim outers and it was just as expensive as show chrome so I stopped there. It can't be all that durable either and who knows what high temps will do to it. That was a couple years ago, maybe things have changed. I believe the silver metal spray is what costs so much.

Not only the rims heat up the tires shred too ! ha ha ha .

Well, I won't deny that my rims get pretty darn hot (running on flat tires..LOL)

I was also considering it for super Mac shrouds, that is what I meant about heat. I don't think the spray on stuff will hold up.

Eastwood sells a product (that is not silver paint)they say comes really close to chrome for less than $75 with a clear coat, I may try that if I get a few bucks ahead. It might be good enough for things like rims.

Anyone ever try that?
