does anyone know the outside diameter of a westbend 820 piston?

Travis, the bore is 2.531, so figure about .005 clearance. TJ

thanks ted. now i have another question.do you know the outside diameter of a westbend 610?

The bore on the 610 is 2.187. Allow .0050/.0055 clearance. The 820 cylinder, having the chrome bore, expands at very nearly the same rate as the piston does, and the clearance can be a bit less. On the 610, as it has the iron liner, there should be a tiny bit extra piston/wall clearance. Ted
