So yesterday I was using my angle grinder to remove the pan welds on my latest '61 Dart and I guess I wasn't paying attention to where the sparks were going until I smelled something burning, I looked down and my shirt was on fire....LOL
Won't let that happen again.

O.K. Butch! A man's just gotta ask: What the heck were you doing angle-grinding with a tie on? TJ

Re: Sparks is HOT!!!
just trying to add some class to work bench area !! my dad was the one. box of parts would come in from wiseco and when home for dinner, straight downstairs. i'd go down later, his tie was over a chair, he'd be working away, white shirt and suit pants still on. no, he didn't wear a suit to the track.

Re: Sparks is HOT!!!
The only times I ever saw Pop in a tie was at someone's wedding, to which Mom dragged him, kicking and screaming. He was in coveralls all day, every day. In the mower shop, going to town for parts, delivering completed mowers and at the kart track. Not a lotta class, but a good, solid man. I bet he burnt a few holes in those overalls over the years! When I was a kid, he gave me a drafting set and told me that I must turn out better than he had. I went on to become a senior CAD designer at the Cape and in industry, but I certainly did not turn out better than he had! TJ
