From his wife Sue.

"I just got back from the hospital and he had his gal baldder and appendix removed. The doctor said that the gal bladder was real bad. He thinks he is coming home tomorrow but he was still in quite a lot of pain when I left him. He should be home this weekend and will catch up on calls.

Sue"

O.K., Gang, here is the latest on our friend, Ron. They will allow Sue to bring him home tomorrow around 10 or 11 A.M.. He's been up, walking about, and is doing pretty well. He still has the pneumonia, but that takes time to clear up, and he can do that in the comfort of his house, with Sue and the cats for company. I haven't been to the hospital, because I just didn't want to bother him, but I will be glad to see him! Ted

Sue brought Ron home from hospital this afternoon. He's tired, but obviously glad to have it all over with. It was good seeing him back on the front room couch! Ted
