can a mac 1-50 be used for a kart motor thanks for all the help guys sofar trying to put twins on my kart and i found saws for a agood deal

The easy way, not really. With work, it could be a Mc5. The specs are
1-50....50659.............2.125"/ 1.375..............55009........... 80cc or 4.9 cu/in.......square crank...removable head ...... oddball cover
For a decent speed engine any closed ports would need drilled out. Dave L. may be able to help out even more with info about ports.

Sure, here is a video I shot when I built a 1-51 saw motor block into a great kart motor three years ago ... this motor has seen many laps between myself and my kids, seems the compression keeps going up and I have never rebuilt it. It really does run strong, even though its only 90cc (due to MC6 crank), it is more powerful than my 100cc MC2 kart motor. I did a lot of extra work on this motor, that could be skipped to save money and time. It was a fun project.
