New McMaster policy

Here's a turd in the punchbowl. I was browsing the McMaster Carr online catalog today, and I came across several ordinary hardware items that require a username and password in order to view them. I called McMaster, and was told that it's a new "security" policy. It only applies to certain parts like unthreaded hex steel spacers as yet, but it's being expanded. I don't know about anyone else, but I get 90% of my quality hardware items from McMaster, and I think this sucks. When you call for parts, be sure to voice your displeasure! Ted
