night race at Thompson

Post by roger santee » Sat Jan 21, 2012 3:12 pm

Thompson raceway kart track wants to host a night race for vintage racers. They have contacted me to help set this up and pick a date. The track is located about 10 miles from inerstate 90 at Madison exit. Let me know if there is any interest and any ideas you may have. Thanks Rob and Bob for letting me use your forum.

I'm thinking both rear and sidewinder. A laid back event like with lots of track time. I'm looking for input.

Wow! That sounds like a great time. Count me in. That's about 15 minutes from my house.

Thompson isn't that far from me either. I would try to make it as long as I don't have a work conflict.

Good idea Chris. Rick hasn't picked a date yet, but he might do Saturday instead of Sunday. Barberton has new owners and he has to meet with them yet. At Thompson we have to work around the drag strip. There are some blocked Saturday because they have big races going on.
