spark plugs

Post by Mike Anderson » Thu Jan 05, 2012 8:21 pm

Hi All,
I have a quick question. What plugs are being used in the Mac's now a days. I recently have used the Autolite 262 and411 plugs which were the updated A-901 and ae-901 but the 262 is no longer listed. Does anyone have a substitute which is working for them?
Thanks Mike Anderson (317)729-2418 fleagle14@embarqmail.com

Mike, Ron and I have had exceptional luck with NGK. The B7S is a hotter 3/8" reach, the B7HS is the hotter 1/2". These are gas plugs. The B8S, B9S, B8HS and B9HS are the corresponding alky plugs. The "H" denotes the 1/2" reach. The higher the number, the colder. Hope this helps. Ted

Been using the 411's with alky. Should install a hoter plug for flushing as it seems to foul a 411.

Thanks, Mike. The Holidays were warm and very relaxed. Hope (maybe) to see you and Rob at TBO. Gotta get some hours on that Nike! TJ
