Steve,
I understand your concerns, the VKA has the same concerns ... everyone at the VKA involved in scheduling the vintage calendar is trying to space these events out to minimize conflicts and maximize participation. Right now there simply are too many tracks / promoters wanting to host VKA events, too many events leads to calendar conflicts and lower per event attendance, which threatens the viability of all vintage events. Some tough choices already were made for 2012 with several long standing events reluctantly being dropped off the calendar for 2012. Jeff Brown is the promoter setting up that event in Camden, he is working with the Camden track to firm up that date. Facilities like Camden that host large sanctioned events have their own calendar issues to sort out, as they try to get firm dates for those big sanctioned events that pay the bills. Our vintage events get scheduled in between those big modern kart sanctioned events. This should be worked out soon, keep your fingers crossed. Heck, maybe some day vintage will have first dibs on track dates, wouldn't that be cool!!!

thanks jeff, i can see that alot of people would like a vintage event at there local track ..im affraid if theres a 100 events a yr with 3 karts at each ..were in trouble ..if there was 100,000 vintage karts like there are modern karts it wouldnt be a problem ..
