Nassau panel fabrication

Post by Scott Hanisch » Tue Dec 20, 2011 11:12 am

Hi to everyone. I am restoring a 62 rupp A-bone kart and the Nassau panel is missing. I am wondering if anyone has made one of these and how they went about it? What would the correct shape be for my particular kart, thanks.

Yeah I have talked with him before, nice guy and Its sweet that he has all the jigs and fixtures to make these karts again but I was hoping that someone could chime in and give me an idea on how to make one from scratch! The hardest part would be to make a nice smooth bend in the shape of the steering hoop and what would you use to pass the steering shaft through at the bottom of the panel? Thanks to all.
