National Kart News

Does anybody know if they went out of business. I paid for two years
worth of mags in FEB 2011 and got my last mag in APRIL and none since.
I called and got a royal runaround.

I contacted NKN. They are working hard to get back on track & looks like they are very close.

NKN unfortunately got behind in their production schedule back in February 2011 due to the economy, and have been working very hard to catch up. The Oct/Nov. issue was mailed right before Thanksgiving and the December issue will be going out this month. They are now back on their monthly schedule.

The May/June and July/August issues were placed online ONLY. They are available for downloading at your leisure at www.nkn.com.

Issues that were not printed will not be counted as part of subscribers’ paid subs.

Please contact NKN if you have any additional questions about your subscription or renewing.

Robert, Frank Weir is the fellow you want to be thanking, Bob and myself just provide the playground.

If you make it to the event next year hopefully Frank will be making another return visit and I would suggest you track him down and thank him personally because Frank has been one of the greatest assets to R.E.A.R. engine historical karting.

Franks hard work in writing articles for us plus his knowledge of the machines from the early days that he will share with all are just a few of the reasons we are so fortunate to be able to call Frank one of the R.E.A.R. family members. We're lucky to know him.

FYI - I received my Oct/Nov 2011 NKN magazine yesterday ... which contains a great 5 page article on this years TBO, written by Frank Weir. Great photos and the typical great NKN graphic artwork.
