Does it have spindles that are weldments with braces or a bent piece welded on? I think it's a Super K @ 1960. Front axle braces might be stock but they were sold separate & a lot of them were added later.

Hi Rob. I have taken some pics of the left and right spindles so we can narrow this down, thanks for all your help.

62 A-Bone. Wheelbase should be 44-1/2" according to the blueprint.

Hey Tom thanks for the info. I will take measurments and report back. What engine would my kart originally come with from the factory? It has a single engine floating mount that some one relocated the mount tab to the centre of the crossmember, they did a hack job and cracked the tube all to rat S%*@ and I just finished repairing it yesterday. I have seen on this site in the pics section what looks to be clamp style crossmember engine mounts instead of the typical welded on ones, they would allow you to place the floater engine mount anywhere from left to right on the crossmember, thanks for all your help

Don't forget Power Products & there were a lot of others. Pick up a few magazines from 1962 & look around.

McCulloch engines that were introduced in 1962 were Mc7, Mc30 and Mc2.

Mc7 would be the easiest to find.

Not sure when the West Bend 610 and 820 were introduced, maybe also 1962?

Power Products PP61 also.

Nice kart, have fun restoring it.
Welcome aboard,
Scott
