Steve, The Mc 2 was produced for like 3 months in 1962. I don t know about it being "Banned" but it obliterated all the other 'Bushing" class engines it raced against. My brother and I raced one in 62 and I lapped the field about every 3 laps , thats how much faster it was than the Clintons !

We later took the guts out of it and put em in a Mc 7 ( I think it was a 7) and it was fast too.

Good luck on negotiations, Chris

steve,

come on steve
you just wanna brag a little i think.
if there's anyone i know that knows how to wheel and deal it would be you.

what i think you're asking is are they worth $$$ to a collector.
answer would be yes.
the more complete and factory untouched they are the better.

that said as a runner they would be fairly useless since parts are really hard to come by.
be careful that they weren't converted over to bearing motor.
pop off the stuffer and confirm the bushing set up is still in place.

for somebody holding them that doesn't collect them they would be worth whatever you offer and they take i'd offer 50 to 100 each.

dave
