Just want to take a minute to once again thank Rob, Bob and our gratious flagman John Spitler for giving of their time and effort to put on in my humble opinion the best karting event on the planet. Thanks also to all my old friends and new ones made each year for giving me several fun and laugh filled days. Hope to see everyone next time, stay healthy and enjoy everyday.
Later, your friend Mike Anderson

Re: The Big One management
Yup,
ditto for me.
they even arranged the rain to come in the night so as not to mess up sunday track time.
the santee boys were on the track so much it was dried out quick too.
Rob and Bob have an awesome event.
lots of kart and it was fun to see everybody again.
even with the high heat and massive consumption of the drinks they never ran out.
brought my daughter this year so i ended up being a mechanic more than a driver.
of course with my karts that's typical anyway.
the biggest problem was getting her off the track once she was on.

Hey guys ,ya gotta be careful complimenting these guys to much,,,I mean it's tuff enough putting up with them on a normal day,,,,,and when they do a great job like this year, well ,you get my drift,,,,I'll quietly say thanks to Rob and Bob for another great event,,,fun for all...
David..... the reason the Santee boys ran so much cause they had to burn up that 50/50 money in alky....before dad got it and did something stupid like maybe putting in a educational fund...great kids...
BTW David, your daughter did a great job.......... congrats
Thanks to Jim Donavan for repairing my Max Torque clutch after I let an old friend run it.....thats what old friends are for ,,,no regrets , I'd do it again....guy hasn't been on a kart in 50 years...hope he is still smiling, I guess the brakes are a little more sensitive than in 1961...
was great to see alot of guys that come just to TBO.....fun event,,,no pressure ,,,just fun...
oh, thanks to Mile Lotz for leting me take out his SAE w dual 820s,,,I did not get tires changed on my Dual 101 Chaparall in time.(axle, wheels, tires and Quincy next week)

Re: The Big One management
I too would like to thank Rob & Bob for putting on this great event. I have been to the last 6 and am already looking forward to next year. As of Sunday afternoon I have a great jack thanks to The Big One raffle and only need to buy a spare for my trailer to make sure I am there for next year's Saturday drivers meeting instead of the tire dealer 70 miles east. Note to other trailer novices - replace the tires after three years regardless of the tread depth!
I also want to thank Steve Miller for bringing the alcohol and enjoyed meeting some of the other "characters" on this board. I missed some of my old friends and hope, God willing, we are all there in Fremont next year.

Re: The Big One management
Thank you Rob and Bob for another amazing event. My Lancer wasn't complete last year but I had a blast anyways. I met a lot of great friends, saw some karts rip around the track, and scored a few parts. I made some new friends this year with some super nice vintage karts. You just can't meet a nicer group of people willing to share their knowledge of these karts period.
It was equally awesome to get some seat time in the Lancer. Thank you to all of you that liked it and selected it for the Fantastic 4. It's a lifetime memory.
I'm looking forward to next year and already started work on my Dart. I see where this is going......Do I need to start trailer shopping now?
