Passing of Carl Buchanan

Primier kart restorer and Jackshaftjones racing team member Carl Buchanan died this morning in California, after a more than a year long battle with cancer. His karts won awards wherever they went. The joke was, 'if Carl's bringing a kart to show, leave your junk at home'
Carl was a retired architect who grew up in the Phoenix area. He had a dual 580 powered Moss kart in the early days, that he raced locally for years. He was a good beer drinking, motorhead friend. He will be missed.
