Hi, Guys,

Most of you know that I played a lot of good rock & roll in my day.

I have an interesting collection of basses and guitars, and I've been restoring a full stage load of vintage Sunn gear for the last two years or so.

If you're into the real thing, here's a link that's guaranteed to make you smile.

BTW, David Heffernan, the artist who carved my '74 Strat, is the guy who did the window illustrations on Led Zepellin's Physical Graffiti, all the J. Giles Band album covers and all the Spyro Gyra covers (the girl drawn on those covers is his sister, Claire).

See you in September at The Big One!

Warmest regards...

Hi, Steve,

Yes. It's a Bradley GT that I built in 1976. It has 640 thousand miles n it now, and gets a complete teardown/re-assemble every 5 or 6 years. Drove to the track in Fremont at least twice, but never when The Big One was running. I also have a custom stainless hitch and aluminum T-trailer that lets me carry one vintage kart behind the GT.

It's a VW frame and engine with a tricked-out fiberglass body and Plexiglas gullwing doors. It's also got working heat and air conditioning. Engine is a dual-port 1641 with mild mods for longevity. not speed. Paint is DuPont ChromaLusion, and the interior is full custom tuck & roll. Every part on the car is improved in one way or another to make a good daily driver.

I've driven it into the Midwest many times, and over the years it's been registered in five different states. Where are you in Ohio? I taught music in a private studio for a few years in Lima back in the 1960's.
