Everyone BEWARE of dealing with EDGAR ELKINS. I bought an engine from him, sent him the money now getting the runaround. Last email I got he said the engine was stolen and he would return my money. I have a phone # for him but he doesn't answer or return calls or emails. So if everyone would put out the word so more people don't get screwed. BEWARE of dealing with EDGAR ELKINS!!!!! thanks, John

How did you hook up with him in the begining( Ebay-Craigs-List).
He will more than likely try it again.

Hey John,
was cool meeting you at b-vile.
S@#ks that you got clipped.
My advice to anyone dealing in long distance purchases is to use paypal and cover the fee if need be.
at least then you money is fairly safe in case of rip off or "misunderstanding"

Through hard experience i learned You do have an option.
Go to the FBI website and look up internet fraud.
there's a section that deals with people selling something and not delivering.
in my case all it took was the threat of the FBI and federal courts to get my stuff sent to me.
many of these internet rip off clowns have NO IDEA they come under FEDERAL JURISTRICTION with fines and court costs on a FEDERAL LEVEL.

What i sent was a email along these lines.
Hi ,

I am tired of you avoiding this issue and either want my money back or the part within this week.
If you don't respond and make these arrangements i'll be forced to send this case to the FBI and have them deal with you.
Since the transaction crossed state lines the FBI has juristriction on this matter.
It's called internet fraud and carries serious fines and jail time.
The federal courts are nothing you'd want to deal with on any level.
I know many people don't know the FBI will do this so here is the web site i'll be using if you'd like to see what the next level looks like.
Personally i don't want to do this but you aren't leaving me any choice if you don't refund my money or send what i'm owed.

Thanx
Happily for me all ended well and my kart and ALL the missing parts eventually came to me.
hope it works out as well for you.
dave
