Guy has a Continental Kit Kart listed as a Go Kart 400. I replied to him that it isn't a Go Kart 400. He didn't revise or add my comment to his auction. Just a heads up.
Somebody was poking around for a Continental Kart on one of the forums a while back.

Another thought is it may be a Bird Engineering product, another Go Kart clone at the time. The single tie rod is definitely not Go Kart.

That kart is mine. It only has 400 in the title because no would fond it otherwise. Th discrption is very clear that I do not know who made the kart. Hell there are two different models listed here.

Hi, Josh. Tom is correct in saying that the rig is certainly not a GK 400. The Continental kit kart, as well as the L'il 500 and Bird karts were less expensive ways to get into karts than Go Kart, Caretta or Bug. Those sissy rails are very familiar to these old eyes, as is that funky tie rod setup, but I don't have the old magazines in which to look it up. The Go Kart steering yoke was also bent a little differently than the one you have, and they had welded pedals on them instead of the later Azusa folded pedals. Neat old piece of karting history!
