Tuesday a standard OEM Mac piston with rings sold for $5.45. I wasnt around to make a bid. Its a saw piston with thicker rings, but for a 2.165 bore. Unless you are running an expansion chamber, these would be plenty functional. The other day a brand new Mc 40 block would have sold for $65.00, if I had not put a bid in. Unfortunately the winning bidder had a fairly high proxy, or I would be smiling right now. But only two bidders???? I have gotten used to seeing the bids go crazy in the last minutes of these auctions. Wheres all of the hard core vintage guys? Everyone have enough parts so I can get some good deals now?

And how about the NOS connecting rod for a Mc 5,6 or 10 for $45 + free shipping? This is the second time it's listed! Carl

Some of us are fed up with e-steal. I know I haven't even looked there for any of my needs for over two years. Everything I've needed I have been able to find and purchase

from contacts on the forums. ...just sayin' ...maybe there aren't so many bidders for that reason.

i think esteal has it's purpose.
i just posted stuff that is pretty nice on the forums.
in the time they sat there NOBODY bought anything.
over the years this consistantly happens when i put stuff on the forum.
then i post it on esteal and everybody is suddenly interested.
people i know from the forums are usually the buyers.
since the price is always cheaper on the forum i'm confused by that behavior.
when i'm looking to raise cash to buy something so i'm inclined to just go straight to esteal at this point.
the bidders are there.
alot of times the numbers are randomly high or low but i always do better than the forum.
i've got a couple of items on reserve that you'd better be willing to pay silly money for since i'd rather keep them.
sadly they'll probably sell, most everything else i put up is starting at 10$.
i was just talking with a fellow who through ignorance in usability he'd sent me four tires that weren't usable.
we were working out a different arrangement.
he's found a large stash of kart parts that he'll be getting soon ,currently they're buried in a snowbound shed.
i told him rather than post them on ebay send me a list with prices.
i've found over the years gabbing with sellers will get the best deals off esteal.
i think alot of the better deals happen this way.
of course the guy i was just talking to just got 150 bucks or so for a pair of rupp turbines.
so his pricing is bound to reflect that but will still be better than the auction.
