hey guys.. just wondering what would happen if i tied two 91s together with a coupler and only had one clutch with two spockets ..?? ..i did it to a pair of 580s when i was very young cuz i couldnt afford two clutches ..it seemed to work pretty darn good , i still got the clutch i made with two sprockets ..

Steve,
I think one #35 chain could handle the torque as long as you get the good stuff and keep it oiled. The clutch may be a different matter but a Burco or Hartman would probably handle the HP.

One idea would also be to couple them with one at TDC and one at BDC, that should really smooth out the vibration. Sounds like a good idea, just need a good coupling method that won't put too much axial load on the cranks, something a bit compliant like a CV joint or a dog drive.

Fun, Fun, Fun
