The air filter is G.E.M. and the header is Azusa. The exhaust used to have a 6-tube muffler cap held into the two little holes by J-bolts.

Azusa muffler attachment is called a Power- Flo Muffler and are being reproduced by Vince Hughes.

Kyle- Nice rig! What brand mini is that?
I only run two strokes on my mini, not only to stay true to history, but mainly because they're just so darn fast! That 580 is the same as the motor which was on my first mini, a Go Kart Corp. Once the fork tube was gusseted to the frame tubes, it became a very good machine.
Would you have any extra of those air filters???

Kyle- what gear ratio do you have there? I've had the best luck running single chain at 7.2 : 1 for all around miniing, or 6.5 : 1 for road racing. This is with a modified AH 58. The only drawback is being forced to stick with the 72 tooth sprocket, fed by 10 or 11 tooth clutches. you can't bank over very far and stay on the mini! I'd like to try a 9 tooth 5/ 8 shaft clutch if there are any, and switch to a 60 tooth wheel sprocket, but hear a 9 tooth is hard on the chain.
