Standard McCulloch "Flatback" just like the 7,8,9, etc.
There are several different part numbers for the flatback and they are all basically the same carb with a few very minor differences. No difference performance wise... only important if you are building a correct collector motor.
If anyone has an all original 90 and can post the part number I would appreciate the info also so I can check to see if I have the correct part number carb on my 90.

Steve, the intake manifold on this MC90 looks the one from a MC6, is that the correct style. I am trying to help my friend get this motor back to its original. Also looking for a MC90 decal. Thanks

No, the Mc 90 should have a Reed Eng. sloper manifold with a Go Power six petal pyramid reed cage.
It will not run properly with the Mc 6 type manifold due to the removal of the partition between the third port passage and the case in the 90 block.
It might start but it would not run well at all.
I think there is a correct 90 manifold listed on ebay right now.

47821 is the carb number on a restored Mc 90 I have. It has the correct sloper intake ,painted yellow along with the whole engine. Jim Walters won a couple IKF Championships back in the day with "A Super" Mc 90s.He was running them at New Castle last summer. They sounded like something off a top fuel dragster !

As Steve said, there is a Reed sloper with Go Power reeds on Ebay right now.
