Hello all,
I wanted to get some advice or maybe even throw some feelers out there to find a good home for this engine. I'm not posting in the for sale forum yet because maybe some one might want to discuss it first?
Anyhow,
As the title says I have an MC20 engine, but I'm going to give you some background on it. When I was in my early teens my uncle asked me to help him and my grandmother to pack up thier house to move. In return he would give me a go kart engine he had.
When we finished he reached up in a closet and pulled down a box with a McCulloch MC-20 Kart engine. It is brand new, never been ran or mounted on a kart. Long story short I never did anything with it. I put it in a box and it has floated around with our many moves over the last 17 years. I came back across it the other day and decided that maybe someone out there can get some use for this thing.

When I get home today I'll get any block number and pics of the engine. It's yellow, has a chrome shroud and chrome carb. Again, it's unmolested, orginal, never been ran or mounted. It doesn't even have a spark plug in it. I have the manual that came with it, but my kids got ahold of it and now the cover page and maybe a page is missing. I'm not real sure on that one as it's in a file cabinet.
Anyhow, I'm in California and if someone is wanting to take a personal look at it maybe we can set something up. Or if you guys have any recommendations on parting ways with it let me know. I don't know if maybe there is a karting Zone meet or club meet or anything like that. If there is I maybe able to bring it along.
