Can someone help me with this carb?

Post by josh carrell » Mon Sep 06, 2010 11:25 am

I bought these motors over the weekend and they are for sale here on rear. I have a question though. Does the name on the carb in this picture mean anything to anyone? I thought it was odd and I have not seen this before. Inscribed on the top is the name John Jacobson, Leland, Ill.

Thanks for the help
Josh

There is a modern engine builder in that area. His son is Brian Jacobson but I think he is getting older also but might have been a father or grandfather????????

If it helps, I believe these carbs have been on these engines since they were nearly new. Here is the pic of the engines.
