All Karts Invited to Barberton this Sunday

Post by Rick Chapman » Tue Jul 27, 2010 9:02 am

Hey All...
This Sunday, August 1, is Barberton's 3rd Annual Vintage Karting Klassic.
We'd like to Invite ALL Vintage Karters to stop and enjoy the day and track Picnic.
There will be a raffle, with some Great Gifts, for Vintage Karters "Only" and a Free Event Cap to the first 40 drivers to enter.
Besides those Terrific Rear Engine Karts, we allow those pre-1985 sidewinders karts and there is NO tire rules.
Top 5 Block Clock Awards are chosen by "Peoples Choice", not racing.
For those coming around Akron, Ohio, on your way home from Avon.
We are located right on Interstate 76, just west of Akron.
Easy access from the Turnpike and other Interstates.
Entry fee is only $20.00 per driver and $10.00 per Pit Pass.
We wish Scott , and the Avon Club, much success with their event but we hope to see some of you guys on your way home.
If you need directions or information, give me a call.

Nice event in Barberton yesterday. Great group of people all willing to talk and give advice on the vintage karts. It was well organized. It was great to see and hear the old engines run like they used to. I think there was a few rear engine karts that could hold their own against the modern karts. Most people just having fun. Great time.
