I've just been informed Hanson Duncan has passed away. I heard he had cancer 2 days ago and this AM recieved an email that he had passed. Anyone with any info please post.

Hanson was an avid vintage karter & helped a lot of people by building engines. He ran a small engine service.

wow,
that's a blow.
too bad we didn't hear sooner.
at least then his friend could have voiced their support.
i guess he decided to keep his cancer to himself.
often people do that when facing a serious challenge like that and it is a personal thing.
my regrets to his family.

I knew Hanson was ill, but didn't know it was so far advanced. He was a fine man and a good friend.
I'd like to give my condolences to Randy and the rest of the family. He will be missed. Ted

Sandy and I would also like to send our condolences. Hanson helped supply me with many Mac parts over the years.

Look guys, Hank Rotroff sent me a link so I could sign the Funeral Book for Hanson. I don't think Hank would mind me passing this along to Hanson's friends: http://www.edgingtonfuneralhomes.com/ Click on the "Obituaries" tab and then on Hanson's name. Ted Johnson

Rob,
I haven't made it to TBO yet, so forgive me if this has been proposed or done.

Would it be possible to do a 'missing man formation' to pay tribute to our fallen comrads?
Something like: get a few karts out and do a couple slow laps with the pole man missing.

Just a thought.

Terry,

TBO isn't a race mostly exhibition running of the karts as such so there's no grids run.
BUT i suppose a grid could form up and run pole man out as a memorial.
i'd be willing to do it .
what do you think Rob?

Hanson loved Power Products. How about a few Power Products only sessions? :?:
