Hey Rick,
If any of you guys need an opportunity to test and tune this weekend, CKRA is having a charity event at their track in Thompson for Rainbow Babies & Childrens Hospital and they want to feature vintage karts on Saturday. Cost is only $25 for kart/driver and $10 for add'l pit crew and includes lunch. They do the charity event every year and my son and I have been there the past 2 years. Their web site is

They have a "CKRA Grand Prix" tab at the top of the page. Also there is info posted on their forum.

I hope you are coming to my event August 1st,
I have been in touch with so many guys who use to race around Akron, even the guy I bought my first kart from in 1964, are coming to see the old karts.
And, I am surprised at how many of them still have their stuff.
