Since there isn't anything on the books for the summer in Nor Cal, we're going to do a vintage playday at the Prairie City track on Saturday June 12th. For those who don't know, Prairie City is the first track in Northern California that welcomed vintage karts and we had meets twice a year there from 2001-2005. Terry Ives talked to the new management who are interested in having us back for a fun day, so it is a bit of a homecoming and promises to be a really good time. The track is challenging with an Adams Kart Track-sized straight.
The cost is $20 per driver and folks can chime in as to whether or not we should do a potluck BBQ. The track isn't close to anything, so if we opt not to, certainly bring a lunch and plenty of water.
Anyway- feel free to get the word out and also let me know how you feel about doing a potluck.
