That is on my watch list. It is the second one I have seen in the last few years. I sure would like to know if anyone raced these back in the day.

I recall seeing an explosion of these things back in the early 1960's. There were a number of articles and a bunch of ads in the old karting magazines. It seemed to me that these were more of a fad than anything else, but perhaps someone with a little more experience with them can shed some light on the subject.

It seems like there was a lot of promo in the '62-'64 era, then a decade later a variation on the theme came out and the jet ski thing took off! I know those were more like snomobiles for the water, but it's amazing that the size and proportions are similar.

Does anyone have an idea how much the Hydro Kart sold for? I also have the WB820 with Van Tech manifold.... just not installed.
