Mr. McBob.........

I just sold 2 of those rods for $125 each,
I think $17 is wishful to say the least

I have seen those split races in Torrington catalogues,
but they probably will only make them up if you want to buy a thousand pieces.

Hey you old woodchuck, take care of yourself !

I have a Hyprode torque wrench and two Hyprode rod bolts. They'll be on eBay soon. Ran a Hyprode rod in a MC9 in A Mod Heavy a long time ago. Pin never backed out and shell never showed any wear. That rod is great protection for the vintage MC's from MC9 on up. Paid $14.50 each for the brand new rods some decades ago. Someone just paid close to $200 for one on eBay! No wrench with it, either. My, how things (and costs to race) have changed! :)

I have two Hyprode rod bolts and one Hyprode torque wrench which I am gong to put on eBay soon. If interested, make a bid here. Sell your Hyprode rods there, too. The last one I saw went for almost $200 last month! :o

Hi Chris,
I have several hyprode rods. Could you send me a picture and price you are looking to get for the torque wrench. I have used many of thr rods thru the years but never had a torque wrench. It would be a nice tool to add to the box.
