Wow, a real live Caretta steering wheel! I've seen them in old photos, but not in the flesh. Very cool find.

This old Caretta has no sissy rails, steel wheels, dead axle and sprocket brakes. It must be close to a first edition.

It is having the paint removed and will be back in a week.

With the early Caretta I'm restoring upholstery was a option. It has no snaps, should I add them or leave it as is? Suggestions.

Did you get it for the $195 in the ad? :D That was complete with engine! Now the upholstery costs more than that!
