Any uses for the Homelite Zip power head?

I have a Homelite Zip that I had originally thought to make use of the engine until I looked at it more closely. This is one of the engines where the crank-case & the saw mounting portion are cast as one.
I seem to recall some form of discussion on this forum about using the Zip, or parts from the Zip. Could anyone tell me if there is anything about the Zip that is useful for activities other than cutting tree's?
Thanks

Hi, John,
The case is useless, but other parts like the cylinder, crankshaft, piston and rod, flywheel, magneto, magneto plate, bearings and seals, clutch hub and shoes (not the drum) are all useful if you or someone else is rebuilding an early Homelite kart engine (depending on the saw, either a K82 or 92). Value is negligeable, as these saws usually sell for $25 - $60 complete and running.
If you have parts available, I wouldn't mind having the outer shroud (with the HOMELITE logo) and the tit (spark plug cover).
Cell is 717-917-3670.
Thanks, and warmest regards,

Jeff,
Thank you for the reply. My initial impression was that the Zip had very little potential for kart usage due to the crankcase. The saw that I have is in disassembled form, but appears to be complete. Story is that the original owner up & decided one day, to restore the saw & proceeded to take it apart for inspection, etc. The saw was a good runner until that moment. From the looks of the saw, I can not understand the reasoning behind that decision. It looks to be in great shape cosmetically & has probably received more scratches once it was apart than prior to.
Anyway, he lost interest & it was boxed up until it found me. Now I'm trying to determine the best way to find it a new home. I have yet to decide to part it out. If I do go that route, I will keep you in mind.
Is there anyone else on this board interested in any of the other parts?
