Glad I have never done that. Put something for safe keeping in a special place.....
then NOT BE ABLE TO FIND IT ! :( :( :( Maybe that's why I'm always on the edge.

Yes you can call Elder direct. Great to deal with. http://www.elderrubber.com/

hi guys.
called elder.
talked to very nice girl who knew exactly what i wanted.
they were a nice price so i ordered a bunch.
Rick,
if i don't get them in time i may beg a couple at the big one.
i have an insanely ported twenty that will want all the fuel i can feed it i think so a big carb is needed.
YEAH that's, just what i want to do go to a rally expecting to rebuild or at least set up a carb.
thanx for the help
dave

Rick that extra box of parts is great idea especially because the parts keep falling off all by themselves. :)
It isn't a vintage event until several parts are sacrificed to the ever hungry track god....I've been to a couple of events that were more like a yard sale/ parts avoidance slalom. That said, it is amazing that more don't come off.

Jeff's slow motion video is pretty incredible in that is graphically illustrates the shaking forces involved with these little motors. I was reading an article on the MC91 and I believe it said there was somewhere in the neighborhood of 900lbs of shaking force on an unbalanced motor!?!??!!?

Dan,
It is imazing that these engines do not shake the karts apart.
Oh yeah, I forgot, they do.... LOL :D
Everytime I leave the box at home, I need something so I am planning on having it with me and an extra engine or 2 , clutchs, etc.
Again, you never know what you'll need with the little Gremlins.. :o
See ya there..
