Post by JIM VARY » Sun Aug 23, 2009 1:08 pm

I NEED HELP. I AM BREAKING THE TABS OFF OF THE SHOE DRIVE PLATE ON MAX TORQUE CLUTCHES AND I DONT KNOW WHY. CAN SOMEONE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION AND TELL ME WHAT I MAY BE DOING WRONG? I AM TRYING TO GET READY FOR FREMONT AND I CANT FIGURE OUT WHAT I AM DOING TO CAUSE THE TABS TO BREAK OFF.

Can you post a picture? Don't quite know what you are talking about.

I weld / fuse the edge of the shoe where it rides on the cross pin.

Jim,

Contact Jim Donovan at Max Torque, as he is addressing this problem. Jim is a great guy to work with, and will be all kinds of help to you! Also, Terry Ives might be of some assistance, as he is working with Jim on this problem.

Ernie
