TIRE ROTATION DIRECTION

Post by Phil Riley » Thu Aug 13, 2009 10:59 pm

Hi everyone. I know this has probably been asked a million times but how do you tell the correct direction of rotation of a kart tire?? I have gotten quite a few tires that have the tread surface comming off or at least separating where the tread surface overlaps. I have been told that this is caused from running the tire backwards. The ones with the directional arrows are a no-brainer, but is there a rule to go by on the rest? As always any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Phil.
