With the Mc20 having the small intake opening in the block, are there any dual intake manafolds that are made for these engines??

Van Tech, Bug, Palmini, and Horstman made dual intakes that fit the early blocks, the Horstman manifold is rare. There are probably some others out there also.

Rick, Bowser made one, but you had to drill a big hole in the block for that one. Reed also made a dual. TJ

rick,
i'm pretty sure jeff elliot has a bowser but it's part of a complete engine i believe.
might have a reed kicking around but i'd need to check.
you could have mentioned it BEFORE i sent your stuff though.
i think you have stock in the post office!!!! :D
i do have a van tech or two but the only double is on my stroker mc10 i bought from my buddy Jack and that motor is staying as found.

Dave,
I didn't know that I needed this intake, wise guy... LOL :D :D :D
I am going to try this intake/carb on a different engine.
I can alter a 91 series intake and it will work with a 91 carb..
Have other ideas..
But, if you run across a dual intake, please set it a side..
We'll talk soon..

Rick,

Just happened to see your post (better late than never). The first really fast C-Open machine that I drove on the old A-Bone was a pair of Mc20's using the old GEM cast aluminum dual stuffer mount with dual flatbacks. The engines were a pair of early Petruzzi 9 porters and ran direct drive. Petruzzi removed the stock intake manifold and machined flat plates to cover the opening. This old alky burner was pretty quick back in the day, and gave the Konigs all they could handle.

Rick,
I beleive that I have two of the dual stuffer manifolds. I will be at TBO and will bring them.
