early enduro/sprint project questions and pix request

hi guys,

As if i don't have enough projects!!!
i seem to have amassed the basic components to make early style enduro/sprint kart sorta by accident. ;)

i already have a rough rupp chapparal and rupp grand prix that i'll be using for the project.
both were made as adjustable frames but both have suffered heavily from the ravages of time and farmer brown.between the two there's enough good frame parts to rebuild one nicely.
i have a margay enduro gear box,dry or wet clutch, early gem enduro side tanks (round tubes) and a selection of older mcculloch motors to fit.

So i've decided that it'd be neat to build a early style enduro kart in a period correct but home built way out of this mess.

what i don't have is very many pictures of early enduro/sprints before they all became laydowns.
anybody with a pix or two i'd love to hear from.
also a general idea of the years and parts that were available at that moment in time would be helpful.
Aaaand any comments on the sanity or lunacy of this project will be considered.
thanx ahead

I don't have a scanner but here's a picture of one of Rupp's first enduro karts with 2 Super K tanks hung on the side and a pair of Mac 10s. Pete Berlt drove it at Las Vegas and modified the seat to hold him in better. This kart would be easy to replicate, besides the tanks and chain oiler being added its hardly modified at all.
