Which McCulloch kart do I have

Post by Paul Peachee » Mon Sep 17, 2007 6:51 pm

Hi, Could someone please help. I can't figure out what model this McCulloch kart is. This is a complete kart I've started restoring it. The only this it didn't original is the engine. Any help would be great. I got this kart in 1975 for my 5th birthday from my dad.

Thanks

Paul-

It looks like a McCulloch F-1 (aka 200 depending on if it was sold in '61 or '62 and what the original color was- F-1= yellow, 200= red )The "F" stood for "Family" or "Fun" but if you read the kart tests from the time period, the F-1 actually was said to out-handle the R-1, which was their racing kart and was highly recommended for sprint racing.

Cool kart! Post pics on the progress... do you have the seatback tank and the stock steering wheel and McCulloch pedals?

All the best,
Dean
