New guy + kart id

hi all-
this is the first go-kart I've had. it was in the back of my family's auto parts warehouse for years. finally after college and grad school I'm getting around to it.
I'm not sure what it is, but I think its older. from the bit of research I've done I think it may be a rupp?
but if anyone could identify it, can folks tell me what would be the appropriate parts for it? such as the engine and the brake? or point me to some pictures of restored karts? or is this kart even worth restoring to original specs?
should have a 2-stroke, right?
I'm big into old cars and bikes, and I appreciate old stuff! I'd like to keep the kart as 'period correct' as possible.
thanks from a newbie.
