I have a 61 bug kart and my question is, did the kart come with the palmini tank?

No, they didn't. They came stock with a round seatback tank with a flat spot on the back side. Bug put their stickers on the flat spot. I have a 61 Bug too with the originql tank. The later months of 1960 and early 61, Bug had about 3-4 versions of their Wasp. Around that time many buyers elected to buy their Bugs with the Palmini in place of the stock tank.
