Tom,

I'm not positive, but i think that kart is a late 70's or early 80's Margay Lynx sidewinder. The engine looks like a BM "Atlas", which is a 100cc Reed valve engine. It would be a good kart, but is too new for Vintage.

You might try posting your pictures on the VKA site, where there are a lot more sidewinder types. The kart definitely has Margay front spindles.

If it's cheap enough, pick it up!

I'm in Abbeville, SC about 75 miles from Columbia. Got any asphalt sprint tracks up there?

tom,

it's not vintage but it's a nice ride.
i bought my lynx for 350 with a broken yammy on it.
if the atlas is a runner a pretty good price.
you won't be able to run it as vintage though as it's too new.
but if you want it just for busting around the track it would be great.

Did a Bandito have K bars? The front end / spindles liike like it to me. Don't look like a Lynx but pictures are not great.
