is this a bug or please i.d. my latest kart

Hi all,
i'm questioning my sanity but this one has really nice hands front wheels.
anyway i paid not much and the owner threw in a couple of nos carlise indian head 4" slicks so what could i do? :(
the frame is nice except for the bent steering bit.
because of the front i figured a blitz but a closer look and compare to my nephews says no.
the braces seem added on.
the bug i have is a closer match.
not sure what it is though so some help please?
